Oppenheimer Investigations Group (OIG) announces that attorney investigator Neil Bautista has been named to the Philippine American Bar Association (PABA) Board of Governors.
Neil’s practice focuses on conducting neutral workplace investigations. He was previously with Continuing Education of the Bar, where he developed, maintained and updated both digital and print content across various practice areas. Before becoming an attorney, Neil clerked at a private law firm and was involved in matters involving discrimination, retaliation and harassment. He also externed as a clinic counselor at Legal Aid at Work’s Workers’ Rights Clinic, assisting low-income and disenfranchised communities with employment law claims. Neil holds a AWI-CH distinction from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI).
Founded more than 40 years ago, the Philippine American Bar Association (PABA) is the largest local association of Pilipino-American lawyers in the United States. Comprised of attorneys, judges, and law students, it was formed to address the legal issues confronting the Pilipino-American community and to meet the professional concerns of Pilipino-American lawyers in Southern California. PABA provides continuing legal education seminars and professional development opportunities for its members and assists Pilipino-American law students through scholarships and mentorship programs. In addition, PABA partners with community organizations to address concerns within local Pilipino-American communities.
