Sean is a strong advocate for the ability of investigations to make the workplace better. She is a firm believer that all investigations are valuable learning opportunities, and carries a deep sense of responsibility to be impartial and thorough in her work.
At OIG, Sean investigates allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, abusive conduct, and other issues arising within public and private entities.
Prior to joining OIG, Sean worked at a national employment law firm providing advice and counseling to clients of all sizes. Prior to that, she worked at a Los Angeles-based talent agency as employment counsel providing advice and counseling and conducting workplace investigations. As a former in-house and firm lawyer, she draws on these experiences to enable her to analyze an investigation from multiple perspectives.
While in law school, Sean served as a member of the Wisconsin Law Review and as a Board Member of the Wisconsin Moot Court Board. She was also an active member of the Women’s Law Student Association, and participated in several volunteering opportunities with Wills for Heroes, Special Olympics Wisconsin, and Underdog Pet Rescue.
In her free time, Sean enjoys trying new restaurants around Southern California, skiing in the winter and swimming in almost any body of water in the summer, reading, and going to concerts.
