Oppenheimer Investigations Group has added Gorev Ahuja to the team as an Attorney-Investigator focused on harassment complaint investigations, including sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying, fraud and other misconduct claims.
“Gorev’s values – rooted in integrity, impartiality and a thorough, thoughtful approach – align directly with those of our team. For our clients, this means our pool of resources just got deeper when it comes to unfurling sensitive situations,” said Amy Oppenheimer, the firm’s founder.
Gorev has experience across the labor and employment law spectrum, including wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, labor-management relations, workplace investigations, unfair competition, class actions, and ERISA matters. He has conducted independent workplace investigations for public, private and non-profit sector employees, as well as providing advice, counsel and representation to employers in litigation.
Like the majority of the OIG team members, each of whom has honed a particular strength, Gorev has discreet expertise with matters involving schools, including representing school districts in special education proceedings, mediations and due process hearings. He is extensively familiar with investigations in educational settings, including complaints filed under the Uniform Complaint Procedures.
Gorev earned his J.D. from the University of California at Davis, King Hall School of Law and his BA in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California at Davis. He is biliterate in Hindi and bilingual in Punjabi.
