OIG Managing Partner and Attorney Investigator Vida Thomas will join the California Lawyers Association’s Racial Justice Committee virtual panel discussion, “Conquering the Imposter Syndrome,” on August 4, 2026.
As a longtime mentor, including of women and attorneys from other historically underrepresented backgrounds, Vida has had countless conversations about imposter syndrome. She’s seen firsthand that even the most credentialed and accomplished attorneys can question whether they really belong.
Despite affecting attorneys at every stage of their careers, imposter syndrome is still a topic that too often goes unspoken in the legal profession.
The conversation will share practical ways legal professionals can build self-trust, own their expertise confidently, and navigate their legal careers with courage.
