We are seeking a full-time Attorney Investigator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced employment law attorney with strong investigative judgment, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and neutrality. Prior workplace investigations experience is preferred, though candidates with substantial employment law backgrounds and a strong interest in investigative work are encouraged to apply
Sitting for extended periods is common. Some travel is required to locations across the state. No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force (e.g., carrying a laptop, tablet) may be required.

The work is usually performed remotely at home. Some in-person interviews may be required at various sites throughout California, depending upon the needs of the investigation. Occasionally, the incumbent will attend meetings in person in Oakland, California and at off-site retreats. Extended periods of sitting and extensive work on computers and other communication devices are involved.
Compensation range is approximately $130,000 to $180,000, dependent on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, bonuses, and 401K plan.
Oppenheimer Investigations Group LLP conducts investigations of allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying, bias and other misconduct at workplaces and schools in both the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
