OIG is pleased to announce the additions of attorney investigators Roxanne Hill, Alfredo Diaz and Maria Walker to the firm.

Roxanne Hill’s areas of expertise center around workplace and Title IX investigations. She joins the firm with deep roots in education, law and behavior analysis to inform her role as a neutral factfinder. As an attorney, Roxanne has represented parents of children with disabilities in special education cases, litigated on behalf of refugees at asylum hearings and provided legal services to school districts and public agencies. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Roxanne provided behavior intervention services to children with developmental disabilities as a licensed behavior analyst and served as a compliance officer for a behavioral health organization. She is ATIXA Civil Rights Investigator Level One certified and a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators. She is a licensed attorney in the State of New York, and her State Bar of California admission is pending. Roxanne earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and she holds an M.A. from Teachers College, Colombia University, and a B.A. from Columbia College, Columbia University.
Alfredo Diaz concentrates his practice on workplace investigations, an area of interest that stems from time working at the Office of Human Rights of Washington, DC, where he investigated and made probable cause determinations in unlawful discrimination claims. His vast legal background spans the intellectual property, banking, and insurance arenas and experience assisting minors with Special Juvenile Immigrant Status applications. Alfredo is fluent in English and Spanish, and in addition to being an attorney, he is a licensed insurance agent in the State of Florida. He earned his J.D. from University of California Berkeley, School of Law and his B.A. from University of Miami.
Maria Walker’s practice focuses on workplace investigations and climate surveys and assessments. As a recent law school graduate, Maria’s experience includes assistance on nationwide class actions through work with her university’s Immigration Law Clinic and interning at a mid-size employment law firm. Prior to law school, Maria was involved with the CARA pro bono project, a volunteer collective created in response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) expansion of its family detention policy. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She holds a J.D. from University of California, Davis School of Law, an M.A. from Stanford University and a B.A. from University of Oregon.
