Oppenheimer Investigations Group LLP (OIG) is pleased to welcome Sean Lee to the firm as an attorney investigator. Sean is based in San Diego, expanding the firm’s geographic footprint and bolstering its statewide presence.
“As a recognized leader of our field, entities across California look to OIG to help them ensure safety and accountability within their organizations. As demands for our services continue to increase, it’s critical for our team to grow as well,” said OIG Managing Partner Vida Thomas. “Sean has a deep appreciation for the neutral nature of our work, and he possesses the drive that’s required to uphold the standards and level of service that our firm’s reputation is built upon. We’re glad to have him on as a member of the OIG team.”
Sean’s practice focuses on conducting neutral workplace investigations. He joins OIG after working as a post-bar law clerk at an employment and business law firm, where he helped prepare PAGA claims, conducted research and corresponded with clients. During his time as a law student, Sean clerked for trademark and employment law firms, in-house teams, and an attorney workplace investigator who introduced him to the practice. Additionally, Sean has been an active member of several legal associations at his university, where he helped foster pathways for communication between students and faculty and create DEI opportunities for fellow students.
Sean, who recently passed the California Bar Exam, is a member of the San Diego Bar Association, the San Diego Korean Bar Association and Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego and his J.D. from University San Diego School of Law.
