A true leader, both at OIG and in the field of workplace investigations, we’re proud to share that Managing Partner Vida Thomas made the Daily Journal’s 2023 list of “Top Labor & Employment Lawyers.”

Vida has conducted more than 200 investigations over her career and was a founding member of the Association of Workplace Investigators. Highly respected, she has investigated numerous harassment claims against judges, state legislators and CEOs.

Vida is also a leader when it comes to understanding the impact that unconscious bias can have in the investigations field. She is a frequent presenter on the topic, helping others to understand the role that it can play in influencing how one gathers and processes information in ways that can lead to unfair or incorrect conclusions. In the Daily Journal profile, she notes, “Workplace investigations is a very unique area of practice.” She credits her success to being able to empathize with people quickly, staying open-minded and being humble.
