Christina Ro-Connolly Elevated to Chair of California Lawyers Association Labor and Employment Law Section Executive Committee

Oppenheimer Investigations Group LLP (OIG) is pleased to announce the elevation of Christina Ro-Connolly to the role of Executive Committee Chair of the California Lawyer Association (CLA) Labor and Employment Law Section. She previously served as the section’s Vice Chair.

I know the Labor and Employment Section will benefit from her thoughtful approach, inclusive communication style, and boundless energy.”

Established in 2018 and headquartered in Sacramento, California Lawyers Association is the statewide voluntary bar association serving thousands of licensed attorneys throughout California. CLA’s mission is to promote excellence, diversity, and inclusion in the legal profession and fairness in the administration of justice and the rule of law. One of 18 dedicated practice area sections, CLA’s Labor and Employment Law Section provides diverse educational opportunities and perspectives regarding labor and employment issues to section members, to the bar, and to the general public. The Executive Committee oversees all section programs, publications, a bar studies scholarship program, and relevant legislation, as well as the activity of 14 sub-sections.

Tina is a founding partner at OIG, where she concentrates on promoting safer and more equitable workplace and school environments. Her investigations include allegations of discrimination and harassment, allegations of abusive conduct, sexual misconduct, retaliation and workplace misconduct. She has handled investigations against high-level executives, elected officials and members of the law enforcement community. Additionally, she conducts Title IX investigations and is a Title IX hearing officer. She also leads sexual harassment prevention trainings and workplace investigation trainings. Prior to joining OIG, Tina spent 11 years at the Contra Costa County Counsel’s Office, advising departments on labor and employment matters.
