OIG managing partner Vida Thomas will also be co-presenting “Investigations (Investigating a Title VII Complaint)” during this year’s Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Law Annual CLE Conference. The conference theme, “New Developments in Gender Discrimination and Harassment Law in California, The United States, and Beyond,” is sure to raise thought-provoking issues in the current, dynamic political and legal environment.
Co-presenting with Vida will be a set of private practice lawyers and investigators, as well as Oshia Gainer Banks, an administrative judge at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
In addition, OIG attorney investigator Ilona Turner will be a co-presenter for the panel entitled “Restorative Justice” earlier the same day.
The two-day conference runs January 23-24, 2025, at the Berkeley campus and online and will offer 13 hours of California CLE credit, including 6 hours for elimination of bias, as well as numerous networking opportunities.
