Jean Perez grew up in New York City and brings more than twenty years’ experience in analytical, operations, investigative, and senior support roles in large law firms and specialized employment practices. Her career reflects a consistent focus on disciplined fact development, operational leadership, and precision in high-stakes environments.

Experience

At Oppenheimer Investigations Group, Jean conducts independent investigative analysis, examines evidence, assesses witness statements, and prepares clear and defensible investigation reports in employment and workplace matters. Her work extends to Title IX matters, including factual analysis, investigative reporting, and hearing officer work. She approaches every matter with analytical rigor, neutrality and genuine care for the people at the center of it.

Jean came to OIG through the merger with Tribu Partners LLC, where she led firm operations and provided substantive legal analysis and investigations support in employment law workplace investigations. Her early career was shaped by years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, where she supported senior partners and attorneys, developing a standard of precision and discretion she brings to every matter today.

Jean is a committed lifelong learner who has completed multiple professional trainings through the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), including trauma-informed and neurodiversity-informed investigative methodologies. She holds multiple certifications and has pursued targeted professional development in workplace investigations, behavior analysis, legal writing, and Microsoft systems infrastructure. Her ongoing professional development reflects a deliberate commitment to investigative integrity.
